We received this now cherished thank you note from a ‘neighbor’ after our LOVE Your Community event.
One of the take-aways from our event last month was a card and gem stone – or ‘gem of love’ – that children or parents from our school could hand out to anyone in the greater community they felt may need it.
These two students shared theirs – and a treat! – with this gentleman, and he sent us the sweetest note in return.

To the faculty and students at Bergamo School:
Please forgive the delay in writing this “thank you” note for the lovely card, gem of love, and shortbread. All were much appreciated.
At 92, the healng process is somewhat slow, but I am doing well.
Remember that “love” heals, and having love in your heart will make you a wonderful person as you grow older.
My thanks again to Daniel, Curtis, and all the students and faculty for your kind wishes. They mean a lot.
Continue to work hard and become successful adults.
Love,
Dick McMillan
