Kudos to these three young people for kicking off the very successful “Toys for Tots” drive! Their initiative and thoughtfulness will bring happiness to a number of children who are less fortunate than children of our Bergamo families.
Cole, Levente and Sam, who range in age from 7- 9, demonstrated that they are well on their way to big successes in life. They are practicing being the movers and shakers of the future. These boys came up with this idea and then systematically put certain actions into motion – they wrote a letter to the parents describing their goal, they spoke to every class in the school about their project, they created decorative boxes for the children to place their donations in and placed them in strategic locations around the school, and they coordinated announcements with our Communications Director, Ski. The desire to see this project through to the end – to follow through is quite notable.
