How did you learn about Montessori?: Looking for a job while in high school, I put in an application at Montessori Country Day. I was looking for a job caring for children. I was hired in the infant room at MCD and began my journey in this education system of “following the child”.

Where did you take your training?: AMS- Cal State of Hayward and AMI- Montessori Institute of San Diego

What do you love about Montessori?: I love that it is a complete comprehensive curriculum based on the natural development of the child. I love the respect it gives to each individual to develop naturally, and the guidance in responsibility to the community.

3 things you can’t live without: My family, friends, and the beach

Most favorite trip you’ve taken or dream vacation: I love my local vacations to Tahoe, Monterey, and Napa. A dream vacation would be to Europe.
