How did you learn about Montessori? – I’ve known of Montessori for quite some time and have always been curious about it. It wasn’t ’til I started working at Bergamo that I learned about it in greater detail. Montessori teaching is unique and inspiring.

Any other degrees, schooling, or training of note? – BA in Biology from Sonoma State University & soon to have an MS in Human Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health

What do you love about Montessori? – I love the environment – the encouragement of curiosity and individuality.

3 things you can’t live without – Sunshine, active wear, & music

Most favorite trip you’ve taken OR dream vacation – Too many favorite trips to narrow down to just one. My dream vacation is to go to New Zealand with my dog and husband, travel around in a modified van, and adventure/camp along the way.

Favorite local treat – Mountain bike trails, cycling trails to Sacramento, Lake Natomas for canoeing, and Out of Bounds for bomb fish tacos… and cider.
