How did you learn about Montessori? I studied Spanish at UCD, and when I graduated, I got a part-time job teaching Spanish at a Montessori School in Granite Bay. After a few months, they decided to sponsor me for training. Who knew that I’d stick with it for 20+ years!

Where did you take your training? Kansas City, Missouri

Any other degrees, schooling, or training of note? I have a BA in English and Spanish; a California Teaching Credential; my AMI Montessori certificate, an MA in English literature, a certificate in Inclusive Education, and many teaching certificates in different styles of yoga.

Most favorite trip you’ve taken OR dream vacation: I would love to go to Iceland or Alaska.

Favorite local treat: Going to any bookstore in Sacramento. I literally can spend hours just browsing the titles.
