It absolutely warms our hearts to receive notes like this:
“I just wanted to let you know that last night as I was getting my son ready for bed, we were playing a game where he was saying, “Mommy guess what words I know?” – I played along and guess what he did? He told me he knows:
Listos? (Ready)
Vamos a fuera (let’s go outside)
Gracias
Hola
Venga aqui (Come here)
Diez dedos (10 toes)
And then he started to sing a song in Spanish!
Then he said, you want to know what else I know?
Nin hao (Hello!)
Zai Jiang (Good bye)
then he said “Mama Hao” – but I don’t know what that means… ;p
I really want to thank you, the Blu Room aids and Bergamo for exposing my son to all of these opportunities to learn language right now. He absolutely LOVES the Mandarin class now. He asked if he could go every day!
With all of this being said, I wanted to share that he had a hearing test this week and they said because of his ears being so impacted he’s really below normal on his hearing chart, but the doctor noted his vocabulary and pronunciation is really remarkable!
I want to thank you and am so very happy we are a part of the Bergamo community and love everything you are doing to nurture and grow our son’s love of language and strong communication skills — among many other things!
